1 - Delhi-Haridwar-Rishikesh

Breakfast at hotel Morning depart by surface for Rishikesh. Enroute visit to Haridwar. Visit Har Ki Pauri which is considered to be the cities focal point, where devotees assemble for a holy dip in the Ganges. Legend says that this is where a drop of nectar fell as a result of the manthan - churning of the oceans – Mythological it signifies the start of the world. Later proceed to Rishikesh. 2 - In Rishikesh

It is made over river Ganges to cross the river and is a landmark of Rishikesh. Ram Jhula has been added recently constructed between Shivananda Ashram and Sawargashram. The fresh air and sound of flowing water, the scenic beauty of the region can be seen from the bridge. Laxman Jhoola is a 450 feet long an iron suspension bridge. Lakshman Jhula is one of the most prominent landmarks at Rishikesh. It is made over river Ganges to cross the river and is a landmark of Rishikesh. It is said that Lakshman crossed Ganges on jute ropes between the place where this bridge is built. Lakshman Jhula was built in 1939. There are spectacular views from the bridge. Visit Swarg Ashram, Shri 108 Baba Sali Kamli Wale Swami Atam Prakash Ji. Swargashram (Heavenly Adobe) as the name connotes is a beautiful place situated in picturesque surroundings at the foot of Himalayas on the left bank of the Ganges between Rishikesh and Laxmanjhula. It is the spiritual “ground zero” of Rishikesh, filled with a concentration of ashrams and temples. The areas is known for its healthy and satwik living environment. It is this spot where from ages of yore the famous Yogis and Rishis have been doing the Tapasya. 7 - In Amritsar

Countless pilgrims visit Golden Temple to pay homage to the holy shrine. Golden Temple is also known as Hari Mandir meaning Temple of God. The Temple has a tank (Sarovar) that is believed to possess healing powers. Sikh Gurus founded new centers for the promotion of Sikhism and these centers became popular as Sikh pilgrimage sites. Jalianwala Bagh is a historical landmark located in the heart of the city Amritsar. People visit this place in the memory of the people who died in an open firing by General Dyer on April 13, 1919. There is a deep well in the park where many innocent people jumped in while running from the bullets. Rest of the day at leisure. Late excursion to Wagah border, 32 Kms from Amritsar to witness the Change of Guard; on both sides of the Indo-Pak border. It is a spectacle comparable to Change of Guards in London.
